Securities Representative Certification Exam (SRCE)

Qualifications

•    At least 18 years of age
•    Should have attended the Certification Seminar for Securities Representative provided by PhilSEC

Requirements for Application

•    2 pcs. 2x2 ID pictures (with name tag)
•    Duly accomplished Application Form
•    Proof of attendance on Certification Seminar for Securities Representative

Reminders: 
  

1.   On the examination day, the examinee must bring the following:

a)    The duly accomplished Application Form

b)    One (1) blue or black ballpoint pen

c)    One (1) battery-powered 10-digit calculator

d)    Valid government-issued or company sponsor-issued ID card with photo, applicant’s signature and signature of Agency/Company Head

2.    Do not bring any communications/electronic devices or any materials aside from those listed above; otherwise, they will be confiscated by the Exam Proctors.

3.    Examinee should come in office uniform/attire.

4.    Bring the Application Receipt when claiming your examination result.
 

 

SEC Certification Exams (CEs)

The Certification Examinations (CEs) of all types are all solely administered by the Philippine Securities and Exchange Commission (PhilSEC) Institute Foundation, a non-stock, non-profit foundation  which is duly registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on May 25, 1992 under Registry No. AN092991887.  Its principal office address is located at:

The regular CE of any type is given every 2nd and 4th Fridays of the month at the SEC Main Office (10th floor SEC Bldg., Edsa, Greenhills, Mandaluyong City).  The examination is available in two sessions, morning and afternoon session.  Each session can accommodate a maximum of thirty (30) examinees.

On the other hand, special examination (any day other than the regular examination schedule) is available upon request and subject to the approval of the PhilSEC.  Minimum of twenty (20) and a maximum of thirty (30) examinees can be accommodated for each session of special examination given at the SEC Main Office.

CE of any type conducted at the Head office is computer-based and administered through the PhilSEC’s Automated Testing system (ATS).


Provincial special examination is likewise available upon request and subject to approval of PhilSEC.  Minimum of twenty (20) and a maximum of thirty (30) examinees can be accommodated for each session of provincial special examination.  Provincial special examination of any type given in venue other than the Head Office is paper-based.

Examination of any type, computer or paper-based, follows the Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) format with four (4) or five (5) choices covering both regulation and technical (theory and/or computations, if there are any) questions.

The Passing Rate for the examination of any type is seventy five (75%) percentile and above.
